I am an undergraduate geology student fascinated to learn about geosciences, specially hydrogeology and petroleum geology, and quantitative/computer-based methods to better
understand the natural processes and solve problems. Currently, I am looking for a graduate program and a research group where I could be a good fit.
I have experience with:
Numerical modeling.
Machine learning/Deep learning.
Pumping test data analysis.
Aquifer characterization.
Python.
OpenGeoSys.
Gmsh.
Matlab.
Below you can see my current main project as well as previous ones.
My undergraduate thesis project
A 1D pumping test model was created using OpenGeoSys. The analytical solution used that describes the observed data is the Generalized
Radial Flow (GRF) solution (Baker, 1988).
This article shows a brief of my undergraduate research project. In this study, gold deposits have been prospected in a less accessible area (Amazon - Brazil) and the results point to either location with irregular mining activities or areas to be further investigated in the future.
Implementation of a wellfield in Caçapava - SP, Brazil. This was planned with its constructive
parameters in the best hydrogeologic area defined using public data. The aim of this project
is to meet the demand of a possible abrupt population growth of 20,000 people.
Analysis of pumping test data from papers using welltestpy Python library (Work in Progress)
This project was the aim to collect pumping test data from many papers. Using Welltestpy and Anaflow Python libraries analyze the data collected, characterize the aquifer using the best solution for each case and compare these results with the paper results.
